The long journey to launching Village Ghost started when Jot was a boy who would steal a few sips of his Dad’s sato resulting in a swift scolding.  A few years later, he’d stand shoulder to shoulder with his mother to make his first batch of sato.

Jot's grandmother and mother brewed for local villagers, passing family secrets from generation to generation. Now, after spending many years building on what he learned from his mother, Jot is proud to share  the outcome of this intergenerational effort, Village Ghost Sato.
